Description
Raptors, foxes, and other predators balance Massachusetts' ecosystems. But shocking numbers of these iconic creatures have been sickened and killed after eating poisoned rodents. Mass Audubon's Rescue Raptors program supports groups in communities across Massachusetts to reduce the use of these poisons, and wildlife advocates in Northbridge have organized a local campaign team.
Save Northbridge Wildlife and Alyssa Giaquinto of Giaquinto Wildlife Rehabilitation Center have teamed up with Mass Audubon to provide this free program about wildlife rescuing and how to reduce the use of rodent poisons that are harming wildlife and pets. Come meet the Barn Owl 'Bella' to hear some tales of wildlife rescues!
Wildlife advocates from surrounding towns are welcome.
