Berkshire Nature Camp at Pleasant Valley - Explorers
Description
Get curious this summer as you explore the far reaches of Pleasant Valley in search of the hidden wonders of the natural world. Be ready for days packed with new sights, sounds, smells, and games as you get to know the sanctuary's many habitats: Hemlock forests, vernal pools, and beaver ponds await! Build survival shelters and learn to identify plants and animals. On Wednesday, hike to the top of Lenox Mountain and venture to the far reaches of Pleasant Valley's trails.
Please note that due to the exploratory nature of our camp program, campers must be able to move about on uneven terrain.
Due to overwhelming need for financial assistance, we have closed registration for Tiers 1-3. Tier 4 Registration is still available by phone only. If you are unable to pay the Tiers 4 or 5 tuition for camp, we encourage you to add your name to our waitlist. Please note there will be no camp on Thursday, July 4th this year.
4 Sessions Maximum: To ensure that many families have access to camp, registration for each camper is limited to four sessions. We will contact you if you register for more than four weeks.
A nonrefundable deposit of $75/camper/session is required to register for camp. If registering after May 15, payment in full is required (unless a payment plan has been established with the Camp Director).
All camp forms, waivers, and the balance of your camp tuition are due by May 15. A full refund, minus the nonrefundable deposit, is provided to camp families who cancel in writing on or before May 15.
