Description
Every month, Woodward Discovery Days opens the Oak Knoll Nature Center to everyone, free of charge, for a morning of wildlife discovery. This month's theme: vernal pools and amphibians!
Learn about the frogs, toads, and salamanders that spend most of the year out of sight before gathering all at once in the temporary spring pools where they breed. Visit exhibits and activity stations at your own pace, then step outside for an optional walk along the boardwalk and wetlands to listen for the first calls of the season.
