Description
Woodward Discovery Days opens the Oak Knoll Nature Center to everyone, free of charge, for a morning of connecting with wildlife and nature. Have fun with nature-themed crafts and activities, meet live animal ambassadors, get an up-close look at animal specimens, and explore the sanctuary at your own pace.
We'll also celebrate the opening of Oak Knoll's new All Person's Trail, a 728-foot crushed stone trail that passes meadow and woodland habitats and leads to a marsh overlook. This wide, flat, even path connects people of all ages and abilities to the natural world, with three multi-sensory interpretive stops along the way.
