Description

Woodward Discovery Days opens the Oak Knoll Nature Center to everyone, free of charge, for a morning of wildlife discovery. This month's theme: butterflies!

Explore the butterfly life cycle, the native plants that sustain caterpillars and adults alike, and the extraordinary story of Monarch migration. Learn about Oak Knoll's participation in Monarch Watch, the community science tagging program that has helped researchers map Monarch movement across North America. Then step outside to search the sanctuary garden for butterflies and evidence of their activity.
