Join Mass Audubon and Wareham Land Trust for Great Walks at Great Neck!
Spring brings the return of Osprey and other migratory birds to Great Neck as they prepare for nesting season. During this 90-minute guided walk, hear about the natural history of these magnificent birds, observe courtship and nesting behaviors, and learn about efforts to mitigate the effects of climate change on their long-term survival.

These guided walks are geared towards adults, are up to 2 miles in length and are slow to moderate paced. Be prepared for possible damp and uneven terrain and be mindful that ticks are present. Severe weather cancels. Bring binoculars if you have them. Park in main lot adjacent to former Sacred Heart Retreat Center at 226 Great Neck Road in Wareham.
