Description
Celebrate the living legacy of Eastern Algonquin language and culture through music! The Eastern Medicine Singers, an inter-tribal drum group based out of Providence, Rhode Island, blend traditional powwow-style drumming and vocals with the raw energy of rock and roll. Having performed around the world and collaborated with acclaimed artists like Yonatan Gat, their music is a powerful act of language preservation and cultural expression. Enjoy an evening of song and hear the stories, heritage and inspiration behind the music.
