Nature Poetry Readings

Description

Gather for a poetry reading featuring local writers that explore our complex and intimate relationship with the natural world, nature as solace and nourishment, and environments under threat from habitat loss and climate change. In the spirit of eco-poetry, these are poems that comfort, but also that urge and awaken, emphasizing the human-nature connection. After the poets share their works, there will be time for comments and questions. We will meet indoors and may head outside if conditions permit.

Closing out Magazine Beach Park's Poetry Week, we look forward to hosting the following poets representing the New England Poetry Club: Sara Letourneau, Linda Flaherty Haltmaier, and Karen Klein.

Community philanthropy enables us to offer a wide variety of Magazine Beach programs for free.
