Description
Late May brings an opportunity to see both late migrant bird species and the start of nesting season. You never know what surprises will turn up in this urban park! Take a guided walk with Mass Audubon field teacher Ibrahim Ware to learn about the birds found in the city and beyond while connecting with other Black nature enthusiasts.
Black Birders Week is a week-long series of events created by the Black AF in STEM collective to highlight and create communal spaces for black nature enthusiasts, as well as to increase the visibility of black birders, who face unique challenges in outdoor spaces.
This walk is co-led with the Brookline Bird Club.
