Description
This accessible birding program is designed for everyone, open to all abilities and ages.
During this "big sit", we'll observe birds from just one location, the Joppa Flats Education Center. Depending on the birds and the weather, we can move between our indoor bird blind (with elevator access) and our large, flat, backyard overlooking the Merrimack River. Seating is available in both locations. There will be a designated quiet space available for anyone to use during the program. We hope to see and hear songbirds, shorebirds, marsh birds, and birds of prey. All levels of experience are welcome, and beginners are especially welcome.
