Nature in Your Neighborhood: All About Birds - Gloucester

Description

We are pleased to offer this free birdwatching walk made possible by the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the local cultural council of the participating town. Participants will learn about bird migration, breeding behavior, and field identification. This program is for birdwatchers of all skill levels.

Instructions

Meets at the end of Eastern Point Blvd. Go through the stone gates and continue along Eastern Point Blvd. until you see the lighthouse. The parking lot is on the right, overlooking the harbor.

Wear clothing and footwear appropriate for the weather and the terrain with moderate inclines and potentially muddy trails. Bring a field guide and binoculars. Bathroom facilities will not available during this program.
