Habitat Nature Camp: Ecologists

Deepen your understanding of how nature works by taking a closer look at soil, water, plants, and animal populations. Discover how animals and plants are connected to their environment in a fascinating web of life. Be a steward of the sanctuary by participating in conservation activities such as invasive species removal and bird box monitoring. Embark on a field trip to explore a new habitat and go all-day hike on nearby conversation land and an overnight campout at the wildlife sanctuary.

Campers move over uneven terrain and may cover 2-4 miles daily. For campers entering grades 5-7.

The staff-to-camper ratio is 1:8. Families may register each camper for no more than one 2-week and one 1-week session of camp.

On-site overnight: July 23

For the overnight, camp begins at 9:00 am on Thursday and ends at 9:00 am on Friday morning. Allergen-free meals and tents will be provided.
