Teen Birders: Bird-a-thon

Description

Bird-a-thon is Mass Audubon's largest fundraiser, bringing together supporters from across the state to raise essential funds for nature conservation, education, and advocacy. This is an opportunity to support Mass Audubon alongside other young birders and nature lovers.

We will start the morning at Fresh Pond. With its varied habitats, pond, marsh, woods, and field, Fresh Pond is a great place to observe waterfowl, raptors, and songbirds. We will then travel by foot to Mt. Auburn Cemetery, a spring 'migrant trap' where more than 30 varieties of warblers have been seen, as well as various thrushes, kinglets, vireos, and other songbirds.

The fee for this program is waived. We areoffering participants the opportunity to be part of our fundraising efforts. Materials to get involved will be sent to you following registration (participation in fundraising is optional).
