Drumlin Farm Camp: Farm & Nature Camp - Advanced Counselors-in-Training
Description
Develop your leadership skills by working alongside Drumlin Farm Camp counselors and sharing your love and knowledge of nature with younger campers. Each session, you'll be assigned an age group to work with, enabling you to develop bonds with campers as you assist with camp programming. Staff will help you develop your individual teaching and leadership styles as you create new lessons and assist with games, songs, crafts, and wacky camp fun.
In addition to being a great resume builder, hours spent in the CIT program may count toward community service requirements (varies by town).
Training: All CITs except those in the Advanced CIT program will be required to attend a two-day training June 23-24 or June 25-26. The program fee is to cover the cost of this training. Financial aid is available to help cover the fee as needed.
All CITs must apply at the link in Instructions below. CITs must commit to minimum 2 weeks. We will be accepting CIT applicants on a rolling basis as long as spaces are open! The first review and placement of applicants will begin in early March.
For those entering grades 9-12. There will be no camp on July 3.
