Broadmoor Nature Camp: Biologists - Ecologists in Training

Entering Grades 6-8

Be a Broadmoor scientist as you find wild specimens in our fields, forests, and wetlands. Grab a magnifier, bring your journal, and get ready to examine nature like an ecologist. Learn what species live where, help monitor animals and birds at Broadmoor and beyond, and share your observations to help Mass Audubon's research team.

On-site overnight takes place the second Thursday of the session, August 3-4. Camp begins at 9:00 am on Thursday and ends at 9:30 am on Friday after the overnight. Broadmoor Nature Camp provides, tents, dinner, and breakfast for all campers.

Campers move over uneven terrain and may cover 2-5 miles daily. Two-week sessions will include canoeing trips and/or field trips.

The onsite overnight will take place August 1-2.

All participants will receive an invitation to complete required health forms via CampDoc within 24 hours of registering. Details about your session will be sent at least 3 days before the start of your program. All health forms and final payments are due by May 15.
