Broadmoor Nature Camp: Counselors-in-Training
Description
Entering Grades 9-12.
Develop your leadership skills by working alongside Broadmoor Nature Camp counselors and sharing your love and knowledge of nature with younger campers! Each session, you'll be assigned an age group to work with, enabling you to develop bonds with campers as you assist with camp programming.
In addition to being a great resume-builder, hours spent in the CIT program may count toward community service requirements (varies by town).
All CITs, except those in the Advanced CIT program, will be required to attend a two-day training June 25-26; the CIT program fee covers the cost of this training. Financial aid may be available to help cover the fee as needed.
A two-week commitment is required for all CITs, but they do not need to be consecutive weeks. Applications (see link under "Instructions" at the bottom of this page) are accepted on a rolling basis, and placement begins March 1.
