Description

Discover the resident birds of a one-of-a-kind urban habitat-an oasis beloved by a wide variety of feathered visitors. With the guidance of a BNC naturalist, you'll learn to spot and identify birds using field marks, songs, and behaviors. Whether you're a seasoned birder or just getting started, these guided walks offer something for everyone. The trails are flat and easy to walk.

Target birds include Common Raven; Dowitchers & Yellowlegs; Glossy Ibis, Green Heron; Osprey; Oystercatcher; Peregrine Falcon; Semi-Palmated Plovers & Sandpipers; Saltmarsh Sparrow; Snowy Egret; Tree, Rough-Winged, & Barn Swallows; Little Blue Heron; Virginia Rail; Willet, Yellow-crowned Night-Heron.
