Camp BNC: Mattapan - Counselors in Training

Description

Counselors-in-Training (CITs) is a special camp program designed to develop important leadership skills and prepare older campers to volunteer at camp. CITs practice skills such as communication, working with others and public speaking. They participate in team building activities, art and science learning and field trips. They will put their new skills into practice by working with younger campers and gain confidence in themselves, while making new friends and discovering new talents.

Once a young adult has successfully completed one week of the Counselors-in-Training program, they are eligible to volunteer at camp the week following their training. To volunteer at camp they must be 14 years or older.

Join us for a unique camp experience that combines all the great aspects of camp with leadership skill building that will help your child in and out of camp!
