Description
Bare branches make March one of the best months of the year to actually see the birds you can often only hear.
Walk the Boston Nature Center trails with a naturalist as early spring migrating species arrive, watching for Red-winged Blackbirds, Common Grackles, and Eastern Phoebes settling back in. Year-round residents are easy to study now too, with woodpeckers working the trunks and Red-tailed Hawks perched in full view.
Sharpen your identification skills and get to know your local birds on flat, fully accessible trails.
All experience levels welcome. This walk is free for members and nonmembers thanks to the Brookline Bird Club.
