Description
Millennium Park packs an impressive range of habitats into one urban green space, including wetlands, meadows, and open fields that draw an equally impressive variety of birds. On this guided morning walk, a Boston Nature Center guide will help you spot and identify species by their field marks, songs, and behaviors, with target birds including Hooded Merganser, Bufflehead, Great Blue Heron, and Bald Eagle.
Trails are mostly flat with a half-mile uphill stretch that opens up to expansive views of the wetlands and fields below. Whether you're new to birding or adding to your life list, this winter outing offers something to look forward to.
