Description
Belle Isle Marsh is an urban birding gem—a one-of-a-kind coastal habitat that draws an impressive variety of species to its shores. On this guided walk, a Boston Nature Center naturalist will help you spot and identify birds by their field marks, songs, and behaviors, with target species including Peregrine Falcon, Glossy Ibis, Saltmarsh Sparrow, Yellow-crowned Night-heron, and American Oystercatcher.
Trails are flat and easy to walk, making this an accessible outing for all experience levels. Whether you're building your life list or just getting started, you'll find plenty to see.
This program is free thanks to the Brookline Bird Club.
