Description
Millennium Park packs an impressive range of habitats into one urban green space—wetlands, meadows, and open fields that draw an equally impressive variety of birds. On this guided morning walk, a Boston Nature Center naturalist will help you spot and identify species by their field marks, songs, and behaviors, with target birds including Bobolink, Osprey, Great Blue Heron, and Ruby-throated Hummingbird.
Trails are mostly flat and easy to navigate, though the search for bobolinks includes a half-mile uphill stretch well worth the climb. Whether you're new to birding or adding to your life list, this outing offers something to look forward to.
