Description
Whether hiking in the woods, bird watching at the overlook, or digging in the garden, campers at the Boston Nature Center have fun while learning about nature. Every day children discover the world around them through an engaging nature-inspired curriculum and in a safe, inclusive camp community. They enjoy the traditions of summer camp while building a life-long connection to the outdoors!
Campers are placed in small age groups: Owls (age 5-6, entering Kindergarten-grade 1) and Hawks (age 6-7, entering grades 1-2). They explore weekly themes through observations, group projects, walks on the trails, storybooks, art activities, group games, songs, and more.
Campers may cover 1-2 miles on uneven terrain. To allow as many families as possible to attend, campers may register for no more than 4 weeks of camp.
