Camp BNC at Jamaica Plain: Falcons, Ravens & Adventurers
Description
Whether hiking in the woods, playing games, or doing a science activity, campers at Camp BNC at Jamaica Plain have fun while learning about nature. Every day children discover the world around them through an engaging nature-inspired curriculum and in a safe, inclusive camp community. They learn, enjoy the traditions of summer camp while building a life-long connection to the outdoors!
Campers ages 7 to 14 are placed in small age groups: Hawks or Falcons (7-9, entering grades 2-4), Ravens (9-11, entering grades 4-6) Adventurers (11-14, entering grades 6-9). They explore weekly themes through observations, investigations, group projects, nature journals, walks on the trails, art activities, group games, songs, and more.
Campers may cover 1-4 miles on uneven terrain. To allow as many families as possible to attend, campers may register for no more than 4 weeks of camp.
