Description
Farm Trekkers is a partnership between Boston Nature Center and Drumlin Farm. Each week the program will bring together Boston-area and Lincoln-area children for a camp experience focused around food and farming. Children will have up-close time caring for the farm animals (cows, sheep, goats, and more), explore the varied habitats of Drumlin Farm and the Boston Nature Center (field, forest, wetlands), work in the crops fields and gardens, and taste food that they gathered themselves.
Please note: Farm Trekkers start and end the day at Boston Nature Center in Mattapan. Transportation between sites is provided. Please wear closed shoes or boots every day.
To allow as many families as possible to attend, campers may register for no more than 4 weeks of camp.
