Description
Discover the incredible journey of the Blackpoll Warbler, a tiny songbird that travels thousands of miles from boreal forests to South America each fall. A short nature talk will explore what sets this species apart from other warblers and how to identify them during migration. Afterward, we will head out on a guided bird walk in search of these elusive fall travelers. Keep your eyes and ears open, you might spot one along the trail.

Instructions
Participants will meet in the auditorium at the Trailside Museum, located at Blue Hills Trailside Museum, 1904 Canton Ave, Milton, MA 02186.
After a short presentation we will take a walk. Dress appropriately for a hike and make sure to bring water. Trails are medium grade and can have parts that are steeper or have uneven terrain. Bring binoculars
Museum admission is included in the program fee. Participants are welcome to explore the museum before or after the program has ended.
