Description
Spend your summer in nature, working with children and learning leadership skills. As a CIT, you will learn what it takes to be a camp counselor by gaining leadership experience, hands-on training, and skills to develop activities and lesson plans.
All CITs (new and returning) are required to attend training June 22-26, which includes an optional overnight experience at Blue Hills Camp. Program fees cover the cost of food and activities during training. Upon completion of training, CITs may then volunteer during the summer, working directly with counselors and campers.
Please note: to be eligible for the program, CITs must be able to volunteer for a minimum of two weeks during the summer, not including training. If interested in volunteering as a CIT, please fill out application form at the link below.
