Birding in Place

Description

Join us to celebrate the bird migration season on this physically accessible bird watch. This event is designed for those whose identities have been historically excluded from nature and conservation efforts, especially those with disabilities and who have backgrounds or identities that cause them to feel unsafe outdoors. Everyone is welcome, and you can stay for as long or as little as you want. We will be birding in a wheelchair-accessible location next to the Visitor Center with accessible restrooms. Chairs will be available. We will keep track of how many species of birds we can observe from this area and add our observations to the Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary species list.

Checking registration status.
