Description
Celebrate Pride Month by getting outdoors together and enjoying nature. Explore the trails of Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary, look and listen for the sights and sounds of spring birds, and connect with other members of the LGBTQIA+ community. All levels of birding enthusiasts are welcome - no birding experience is required! Your guide will point out birds and seasonal nature along the way.
This will be a relaxed-pace walk covering between 1.5-3 miles on uneven but fairly flat terrain. Please bring binoculars, monoculars, cameras with zoom lenses, or spotting scopes if you have them. Binoculars will also be available to borrow.
All members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their families are invited to come build community, have fun, and connect to nature in a welcoming intentional space.
This program is free as part of Mass Audubon's sponsored Pride Month Celebration!
