Summer Speaker Series: Sustainable Solutions

Description

Join us at our Summer Speaker Series for an enriching evening program showcasing the expertise of Mass Audubon staff and local speakers.

Launched in 2016, Massachusetts' Community Electricity Aggregation [CEA] program is the 2nd largest in the country with 25 towns-including the entire South Coast-which allows towns to buy their electricity in bulk and keep prices stable. Laura Gardner, Co-Chair from Climate Reality Massachusetts Southcoast, will discuss the importance of CEA, and touch on other ways households can confront global warming, including electrification options through the Inflation Reduction Act.
