Join Wareham Land Trust and Mass Audubon for Great Walks at Great Neck!

The sanctuary protects coastal forests and salt marshes that provide important habitat for a variety of wildlife. Hear from Dr. Sara Grady, Mass Audubon Senior Coastal Ecologist, about coastal wetland and salt marsh restoration efforts on the South Coast.

These guided walks are geared towards adults, are up to 2 miles in length and are slow to moderate paced. Be prepared for possible damp and uneven terrain and be mindful that ticks are present. Thank you for leaving pets at home. Severe weather cancels. Bring binoculars if you have them. Space is limited. Park in main lot adjacent to former Sacred Heart Retreat Center at 226 Great Neck Road Wareham.
