Become a Neighborhood Naturalist by learning about the natural phenomena taking place in your backyard and beyond. Answer your nature questions and uncover hidden connections throughout the world with this online natural history series focused on spring happenings. You'll learn about spring ecology and events with us and tools and tricks to get the most out of your adventures outdoors, including how to contribute to community science projects.

Each topic will include an online presentation; two weeks to complete optional field challenges using what you've learned; and a follow-up session for discussion and questions before the next presentation.

April 12th: The Science of Spring

April 26th: Trees and Plants in Spring

May 10th: Native Animals in Spring

May 24th: Phenology and Connection

Instructions and Directions:

Optional Fieldwork discussions 7:00-7:30pm, Wednesdays April 26th, May 10th and 24th, and June 7th.

You will receive the Microsoft Teams Link to log into the program in your confirmation. An email reminder will also be sent to you 24 hours before program start.
