Bud burst is the beginning of the growing season for our woody plants. Many of our native trees and shrubs do not open to flowers with petals but their buds are still fascinating and beautiful. Learn about climate induced changes in the phenology of bud burst and how you can contribute to community science databases by studying bud burst around you.
