Have you ever wondered what wild mammals are living in your neighborhood? Learn how to interpret the subtle and sometimes glaring clues creatures leave behind, including tracks, chews, scat, and more. You'll gain basic skills to enhance your outdoor walks and hikes with a greater awareness of the wildlife around you.

We'll highlight a variety of mammals including American Beaver, Eastern Coyote, Raccoon, and Fisher, in addition to the clues they leave for us to find across the Massachusetts landscape.

Interested in learning more? Join us for one, some, or all: this program is one part of a 4-session Wonders of Winter Series - online. By registering for the series before 1.18.23, you'll get access to all 4 sessions for the price of 3. You do not need to register for other sessions, or the full series, to enjoy this one.

Corresponding in-person programs will be offered at many Mass Audubon wildlife sanctuaries, perfect for practicing the lessons learned here in the field. See our program catalog for more.
