Over 100 species of butterflies and a thousand species of moths can be found in Massachusetts. You can do a number of simple things to attract and provide for them in your neighborhood. This online presentation will cover butterfly and moth diversity, anatomy, life history, and gardening techniques to create a butterfly and moth-welcoming landscape. An optional, self-directed outdoor observation exercise will be offered, with follow-up discussion on August 11 to share your findings.
