Why should kids have all the fun? In each session we'll go on a different outdoor excursion with plenty of time to examine, discuss, and compare our findings. You'll want your camera, binoculars, and a sense of adventure for these guided walks and cruises from a naturalist's perspective.
May 6: Cherry Hill Reservoir, Byfield
It is warbler season! Join us for a leisurely stroll in search of Warbling Vireos, Green Heron, Golden-crowned Kinglet, mergansers and more!
June 17: Cruise to Baker's Island Light, Salem
Enjoy a private cruise and tour of this Essex Heritage property for birding and beachcombing and to learn about the history of the island.
July 6: Visit York Center for Wildlife, York ME
Our group will receive a private tour of in-house rehabilitated wildlife and enjoy lunch at the top of Mount Agamenticus afterwards.
August 13: Newburyport Whale Watch / A.M. or P.M. cruise
Choose an 8:30am or 1:30pm departure time from the Newburyport waterfront onboard the Captain's Lady whale watching vessel with nature guides to share their knowledge of seabirds and ocean life with you.
Dress for the weather and bring binoculars and a packed lunch. An email will be forwarded with details and directions a week prior.
Cancellation Policy: Cancelling 7 days in advance will be refunded. Cancelling 48 hours prior is a program credit. Cancelling less than 48 hours is a donation of your registration fee.
