Please join us for the Greater Lawrence Biodiversity Family Program! There will be three chances to join us in a bioblitz of your local parks and wild places. What's a bioblitz you may ask? It's a gathering of community members whose sole purpose is to identify and document as many species as possible within a short timeframe. All this data is uploaded to the popular nature app, iNaturalist, where a huge collection of citizen science data lives to aid scientists and community planners. Are you up for the challenge? Mass Audubon staff will lead the program and help to point out and identify species of interest. If you're interested in discovering what's in your backyard, this program is for you!
