What is the fastest growing outdoor activity in America? It's birding! According to a survey by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, more than 47 million Americans report that they watch birds. In the next 50 years, birding will grow at a faster rate than the U.S. population. Join the growing excitement; during this workshop we'll discuss how to choose the right binoculars and what to look for in a field guide. Next, we'll head out onto the sanctuary and learn what to look and listen for to help identify these beautiful creatures.

Instructions and Directions:

Meets in the Nature Center. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars if you have them (we will have some loaners on hand as well.)
