Springtime explodes with life, especially in vernal pools which are temporary havens for unique species like fairy shrimp, wood frogs, and many macroinvertebrates. With dipping nets, microscopes, and ID charts, we'll carefully explore a vernal pool and discover the wonders this biodiverse area has to offer.
The program will start and end at the kiosk by the parking lot.
All programs will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. All participants and staff must wear a properly fitted face covering and comply with social distancing guidelines for the duration of the program. Groups are limited to a maximum of 10 participants. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed at least 24 hours before the program.
