Entering grades 9-12
Develop your leadership skills by working alongside Drumlin Farm Camp counselors and sharing your love and knowledge of nature with younger campers. Each session, you'll be assigned to work with an age group, enabling you to develop leadership skills and bonds with campers as you assist with camp programming. Staff will help you develop your individual teaching and leadership styles as you create new lessons and assist with games, songs, crafts, and wacky camp fun.
In addition to being a great résumé builder, hours spent volunteering may count toward community service requirements (varies by town).
CIT Training
CITs attend one of two mandatory training sessions (June 27-28 or June 29-30) to learn about child development, safety, and best practices for assisting camp groups.
Application & Commitment
Our CIT program is open by application only. If you are interested in participating, please tell us more about your experience and interests by filling out an application at massaudubon.org/drumlincamp. Applications are due no later than March 1st.
All programs will be conducted in accordance with current Municipal, State, and Mass Audubon Covid-19 protocols. A detailed confirmation letter will be emailed at least 24 hours before the program.
