Spring has arrived along with thousands of migrating birds! Explore the Blue Hills with experienced birder, Dan Burton, to sharpen your birding skills as you track both the birds migrating through and those that are here year round. The group will meet at Fowl Meadows and will travel along a relatively flat trail with some patches of narrow board bridges in search of active hot spots and the most exciting birds.
Birders of all levels are welcome. We will travel slowly, along mostly level terrain for a mile or two. Water resistant shoes are recommended because of early morning dew. Bring binoculars and a bird guide/app if you have them.
This program will take place at Fowl Meadows at the Blue Hills. Meet at the entrance at Brush Hill Road and Neponset Valley Parkway.
