Details
Bring your family and friends for a day of fall fun—enjoy live animal presentations, scenic hayrides, hands-on crafts, delicious food, festive wreath making, face painting, and toe-tapping music by The Flying Elbows! This year’s theme is Quiescence, which means dormancy, and will feature activities that explore the fascinating ways animals rest, hibernate, and conserve energy during the colder months.
Savor your favorite fall flavors as you take in the festivities. Local vendors and the sanctuary crew will serve up warm cider, savory soups, fresh popcorn, and other seasonal treats—plus hearty comfort foods that capture the spirit of the season.
Featured Festival Activities:
- 9:00 am: Bird Walk & Sit
- 10:30 am, 11:30 am, and 12:30 pm: Animal Ambassadors
- 12:00 pm: Bird Call Competition
