Snowshoe Rentals at the Boston Nature Center

Snowshoes are available to rent during winter months on a first-come, first-served basis and can be used on any of the sanctuary trails whenever there is 6 inches of snow or more. 

Snowshoes cannot be reserved; please call ahead to check on availability.

Cost & Rental Hours

Member: $8/hour 
Nonmember: $10/hour

  • Snowshoe rentals are available 7 days a week.
  • Minimum rental period is one hour.

Rules & Restrictions

  • Snowshoes may be rented only for use on Boston Nature Center grounds and trails and must be returned by 3:30 pm.
  • At least one 18-year-old participant with signed rental form is required for each rental.
  • For the safety of all participants and the protection of wildlife and habitat, posted regulations are strictly enforced.
