Bring your friends, families, colleagues, and passions to the Community Use spaces at Boston Nature Center!  

As a net-zero facility, the Boston Nature Center is one of the greenest buildings in Boston. This, coupled with the 67-acre mosaic of greenspace and 2 miles of walkable trails, make it a fun and inspiring place to host your next meeting, workshop, retreat, and more.  

Bring Your Group to the BNC  

We offer a unique and natural setting for birthday parties, social events, and meetings.  

Large meeting rooms with tables, chairs, podium, mic, and 68 inch NEATBoards, facilitate productive collaborations for changemakers looking for an empowering meeting space. The unique setting and ample greenspace nestled in the city also makes for an unforgettable gathering of old and new friends looking to connect and unwind. Tours of the building, as well as special programs, can be arranged.

Maximum Capacity 

  • Hayden Classroom I and II (individually): 35 seated adults without tables; 25 with tables 
  • Hayden Classroom I and II (joined): 60 seated adults without tables; 40 with tables 
  • Resource Room: 25 seated adults without tables; 15 with tables 
  • Exhibit Hall: 75 seated adults without tables, 65 with tables 

Availability 

Events can take place year-round. After hours and special tours/programs may be considered. 

Weekdays: 9:00 am-5:00 pm 

Weekends & holidays: 10:00 am-4:00 pm  

Facility Details & Amenities 

  • Accessibility: the nature center is fully accessible, as well as accessible parking and trails on site 
  • Food Storage & Prep: non-commercial kitchen; refrigerator, stove, oven, and microwave available 
  • Parking: space for up to 70 cars available on site 
  • Regulations: please no smoking or alcoholic beverages 
  • Additional Amenities: two miles of nature trails, bird and butterfly gardens, amphitheater, and patio 

Rates 

Rental fees are based on rooms used and length of time. Discounts may be available for local non-profits and community groups. Discounted rates do not apply for weddings and some large events. Please email [email protected] availability and rates. 

Please Note: A nonrefundable deposit is required to book a rental. Dates cannot be held for bookings without a deposit on file.
