December 6, 2025-February 25, 2026
Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary in Easthampton will feature the vibrant works of celebrated local artist Jan Ruby-Crystal in her New and Reimagined Artworks exhibit.
About the Exhibition
New and Reimagined Artworks showcases Jan Ruby-Crystal’s year of artistic work, including her series "Lefty Paintings" created after surgery on her broken right wrist. The exhibition includes a variety of media including pastels, watercolor, oil paint, graphite, digital painting and carved, colored pencil drawings and gel prints. Each piece reflects Jan’s inquisitive and expressive style.
A practicing artist and naturalist, Jan draws inspiration from daily walks through the woods along the Mill River with her husband and their dog. She spends many hours at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary, where she has found kindred spirits in the beauty of the land and the generosity of others.
This exhibition promises to inspire visitors with its colorful visuals, inviting them to see the beauty of the natural world through the eyes of a talented artist with a strong connection to the Arcadia and the community.
