Shop Return Policy
Your satisfaction is our goal! While we do not anticipate any problem fulfilling your order, please be sure to save or print a copy of your purchase confirmation email. That way, if a question or problem arises, you will have the necessary information when you contact us.
Damages & Defects
Please inspect your purchase when it is received. If it is damaged or defective at the time of delivery, please contact us as soon as possible.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any other reason, you may return it within 30 days from the date of purchase. Please note that we can only refund or exchange merchandise that is in sellable condition, with the original packaging. Unfortunately, shipping and handling charges cannot be refunded.
If you have purchased apparel through our print-on-demand company, Bonfire, and are not satisfied with your purchase, please do not return the item to the Mass Audubon Shop. Returns for purchases made through Bonfire must be handled through Bonfire directly. Visit the Bonfire Returns help page for more information.
How to Return an Item
When packaging your return, you must include the following with the item(s) you're returning.
→ A sales receipt or packing slip. We need a receipt or packing slip to issue a refund to your credit card.
- If you don't provide a sales receipt or packing slip, we will issue you a gift card.
- If you don't have the receipt or packing slip that states the price you paid, we will issue your gift card using the item's lowest selling price.
→ A sheet of paper with the information listed below. Must be printed or written legibly.
- Your name
- Billing address
- Phone number (needed to confirm credit card for refund)
- Reason for your return
- If applicable, your Mass Audubon member number
