Willow Flycatcher
Empidonax traillii

The Willow Flycatcher has increased tremendously in Massachusetts as it has expanded its range northward, readily occupying moist bushy meadows and brushy wetland edges in areas generally at lower elevations than those preferred by its close relataive, the Alder Flycatcher. It has become a fairly widespread breeder in the Commonwealth.
