TD has selected Mass Audubon’s Boston Nature Center and Wildlife Sanctuary as a 2026 TD Tree Days grant recipient, helping bring volunteers together to create greener outdoor spaces through community planting events. TD Tree Days is the bank's flagship volunteer program, implemented in collaboration with the Arbor Day Foundation and local planting organizations, that brings communities together through tree planting and hands-on greening efforts. Through this grant, Mass Audubon and TD volunteers will plant 105 trees at Boston Nature Center in Mattapan on October 8.
Since the first U.S. TD Tree Days event 15 years ago, TD colleagues, their families, and community partners have planted more than 22,000 trees and shrubs across the bank's U.S. footprint. Beyond planting, TD Tree Days creates opportunities for people to spend time outdoors, work side by side with community organizations, and contribute to greener, more welcoming spaces that communities can enjoy for generations.
This year, approximately 3,846 trees and shrubs will be planted through TD Tree Days and Arbor Day Foundation in partnership with Mass Audubon and 11 additional community organizations participating in the 2026 planting season.

Since TD Tree Days began in 2011, the annual event has brought together thousands of volunteers to support local community projects through tree planting and outdoor stewardship activities. The program continues to provide opportunities for people to connect with one another and contribute to greener community spaces.
Additional TD Tree Days events for the 2026 planting season are planned in communities across TD's U.S. footprint, including Bridgeport, Connecticut; Jacksonville, Orlando, and West Palm Beach, Florida; Auburn, Maine; Detroit, Michigan; Tenafly, New Jersey; New York, New York; Charlotte, North Carolina; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Greenville, South Carolina and others.
