Facility Rentals at Long Pasture

Looking out over the harbor in late summer at Long Pasture

Located just off of Route 6A in the Barnstable village of Cummaquid, Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary offers extensive outdoor space and a magnificent view over the waters of Barnstable Harbor to the dunes and lighthouse of Sandy Neck.

Conferences and Meetings

The Discovery Center offers auditorium space that can be used for company and community group meetings, small conferences, and retreats. The auditorium has a maximum seating capacity of about 75 people and about 45 if both chairs and tables are used. Chairs, tables, AV equipment, and internet access are available. The sanctuary campus also offers outdoor gathering areas for groups.

Food

For Discovery Center functions food may be served, but not prepared or stored on site.

Wedding Ceremonies

  • The expansive lawn in front of the Discovery Center and the Parker House, overlooking Barnstable Harbor, is available to Mass Audubon members for wedding ceremonies (Not a member? Join today!) We are limited to hosting no more than 4 wedding ceremonies each year, and we are unable to accommodate receptions or parties. The Discovery Center has two restrooms and is available for wedding party preparation.
  • Please note that the sanctuary is open to the public from dawn to dusk and privacy is not assured at any location or in the Discovery Center during scheduled open hours.

Parking

Onsite parking is available. Parking for all guests includes both a seasonal mowed lot near the entrance to the property as well as year-round improved surface parking. The parking lot is approximately 400 feet from the Parker House, Discovery Center and the lawn area. Parking space numbers will vary depending on the season and time of rental due to sanctuary hours of operation. Reserved accessible parking spaces are available and marked nearest the Parker House. Long Pasture staff is not responsible for vehicle parking.
