Trails at Lincoln Woods
Explore the 1-mile trail system at Lincoln Woods Wildlife Sanctuary. Trails range from level to short slopes with surfaces that are smooth to uneven.
The sanctuary's mature woodlands serve as an important resting spot for migrating birds in an otherwise urban environment.
And in early spring, amphibians migrate in large numbers to the numerous vernal pools at Lincoln Woods as part of a natural phenomenon known as "Big Night."
This Sanctuary uses a blue/yellow trail marking system. Blue circle trail markers lead away from the parking lot. Yellow circle trail markers lead back to the parking lot. |
